Our Composite Rib Corrugated Rubber offers added traction with added and finer grooves and more protrusions, ribs and ridges. The surface pattern (which combines the fine and the wide ribs) is more prone to scraping action and offers added grip for applications with heavy foot traffic. The extra ribbed corrugations offer more dirt and moisture trapping qualities.
The Ramp Cleat offers the ultimate traction through cleated ridges & protrusions, which run widthwise. This rubber runner is one of few runner products which offer deep studded barrier for additional toehold when going up inclines or across moist surfaces. The angular corrugations also help remove excess soil from feet when used as an entry scraper mat.
It's all about the Grooves!
Corrugated Rubber Matting is the cost effective choice for traction applications. This product is available in four distinct "corrugated" varieties. The Fine Rib has more ridges and grooves, leading to more traction and scraping action. The Wide Rib has fewer ridges, hence it offers more comfort and is easier to clean. The Composite Ribbed Corrugated combines the fine and the wide grooves, in order to maximize grip and reduce slipping accidents. The Ramp Cleat Corrugated is distinct since the corrugation on this mat run widthwise.
Most Corrugated rubber rolls are available in either 36" or 48" widths, and in standard rolls 50 feet long. Our Corrugated Matting can be purchased in any length, making it simple to purchase and install wherever necessary. Besides the high coefficient of friction of the surface, the "V" or the "U" groove corrugations further enhance grip and traction in all conditions. Because this product is entirely composed of rubber (i.e. no fabric or burlap backing), all of our Corrugated Rubber Mats also exhibit great surface traction in temporary or semi-permanent installations.
