Being made from natural and reclaimed rubbers makes for a high-quality vulcanized rubber mat that is also very affordable. This rubber mat is 9mm thick which is just under 3/8-inch thickness (i.e., 9.5mm). The edges of the rubber mat are designed with a beveled edge that brings the 9mm thick rubber down to the floor level. This makes it easy to access by foot-traffic and/or wheeled machines and apparatus. Since rubber has elastic qualities, it serves to protect the surface below and the persons or equipment on top from harming one-another.
The surface texture of this rubber mat is a diamond-plate design. Tread plate, also known as checker plate and diamond-plate, is a type of surface design that is normally seen on top of metal surfaces. This design has a regular elevated pattern that helps increase slip-resistance.
