Product Description
The “Klear Flex” sweeper hoses are made for use in commercial street sweepers. This clear flexible hose is used for suction vacuum purposes. It is made of clear polyurethane. Its clear body allows you to see the materials going through the hose and can allow you to keep track of how well it resists physical harm. It also benefits from a coated spring steel wire helix in its body, giving it a better rate of flexibility and durability. The spring wire helix allows the flexible plastic hose to compress easily while in use. Depending on the nature of your application, you can get these hose sweeper parts in a heavy-duty option or a medium-duty option.
Clear Flexible Hose: This sweeper tube benefits from a body made of clear polyurethane material. This structural clarity is very useful for sweeper hoses that are meant to intake the various types of physical debris that are out there on the streets and in the parking lots. As the hose performs its suction, you can see the types of objects going through it. It is also useful for keeping a track of how much damage your hose may suffer in case an extremely abrasive object goes through it.
Spring Wire Structure: Thanks to the presence of a reinforced spring steel wire helix throughout its construction, this hose has an enhanced degree of flexibility, abrasion resistance, and compressibility. The spring wire allows for better resistance to abrasions both inside the flexible plastic hose as well as on the outside.
HD and MD Options: The “Klear Flex” sweeper hoses are available in Heavy-Duty and Medium-Duty options. The wall thickness is different depending on the grade of hose. The HD hose has a wall thickness of 0.045” while the MD hose wall is 0.035” thick. It is important to know what level of debris you intend to put through these sweeper parts. The heavier duty clear flexible hose will be able to handle almost anything thrown at it, while the medium duty hose can be a bit more affordable for regular light to mid-level sweeping jobs.
