You can buy this product in 1/16”, 1/8”, 3/16” and 1/4” thick sheets. Each thickness is available in 247 different dimensions for sale. If you don’t see the size you need contact our customer service staff, we can produce these rubber parts in any dimensions that can be made from 36”, 48” and 72” wide rubber rolls. All customer-cut neoprene 60A parts are made to order.
Protective Rubber Surface: Friction is the force felt between two surfaces when one attempts to slide against the other — whether or not they are moving. It always acts to slow things down. And it depends on only two things: the nature of the surfaces and how hard one presses against the other. Collision, on the other hand, is the precipitous, potent coming together of two objects. In either instance, the two bodies that collide or slide against one another can experiences wear and damage. By using rubber, like Neoprene 60A, hard surfaces can be protected from collision or damage caused by friction. Neoprene can extend the life of equipment, protect parts, and reduce damage to expansive hard surfaces.
PSA: Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tape is also known by its acronym PSA. Pressure sensitive adhesive is a kind of adhesive which formulates a bond when force is brought on to the adhesive and another surface. Self adhesive or self-stick will adhere to a variety of surfaces when applied to surfaces that are free of moistures, oils greases and is clean. A dry unpolluted surface is required for the PSA to stick. What activates PSA is pressure and the bond the adhesive forms is directly related to the amount of pressure applied. No solvent, water, or heat is needed to activate the adhesive.
