Product Description
If you have a Supervac or Schwarze® street sweeper, then you are probably aware of just how expensive the sweeper parts for it can be. The brand dealers who make the kits for their own vehicles generally tend to charge higher prices simply because, well because they can! Rubber-Cal, on the other hand, does not believe in charging an arm and a leg for a sweeper vehicle’s sweeper kit. Most sweepers are operated by independent operators who have strict budgets and even stricter schedules. To save you both time and money, Rubber-Cal brings to the market rubber flaps for the Schwarze® 200 at a more affordable rate than brand name competitors!
Two Curtain Kit: This sweeper kit comes with two rubber curtains, also known as flaps. They are both made of skirtboard rubber and can be easily attached to the Model 200 Schwarze® street sweeper. It is similar to the kit for the Model 200 Type A street sweeper, but for this kit the rear flap is made of a 1/2” thick skirtboard material. This will serve to give the rear flap a bit more durability in case anything rough and abrasive comes into contact with it.

Skirtboard Elastomer: Skirtboard is a great rubber to use for a sweeper’s rubber flaps. It is a blend of SBR and Gum rubber. It gets its famous durability from the SBR rubber used to make it. For this reason it is often utilized in industrial applications that need a part to handle rough physical abrasions, such as in these sweeper parts. Despite being a firm and solid rubber, it also possesses a very little bit of flexibility thanks to the Gum rubber in its composition. Both curtains in this sweeper kit are made of this elastomer.
Medium Duty Sweeping: The Schwarze® Model 200 Type B is primarily designed for medium duty sweeping applications. While you may not see it on a highway, this Schwarze® street sweeper is often seen in parking lots and residential streets. The rubber flaps of this vehicle are best put to use for mid-level applications that see a moderate amount of physically abrasive materials, like gravel and rocks. Flexibility that this kit offers is what differentiates it from other kits.
More Benefits:
- Easy to drill holes in these sweeper parts
- Can be mounted onto the Model 200 Type B with ease
- Skirtboard material can handle light contact with non-abrasive chemicals
