Can I Loose-Lay My Rubber Flooring Rolls?

This method also serves to save existing floors by not exposing them to corrosive agents such as adhesives. Gluing down a roll of rubber flooring is a lifetime commitment, and if you do change your mind about the glued-down rolls, removing them will be cumbersome.
How Do I Clean My Rubber Flooring?
Rubber flooring can be swept, vacuumed, mopped, or even hosed down. Since moisture does not affect rubber flooring, you can wash the rolls outdoors and once dried, they can be put into use again. We suggest that corrosive cleaning agents not be used with your “Terra-Flex Sport” Rolls since they may attack the binders used to formulate the recycled tire crumb rubber rolls. In addition, the use of petroleum-based oils and greases is highly ill-advised since petroleum-based oils will attack the binder used to mold the rubber crumb and it will cause failure.
How Long Will Rubber Flooring Last?
Since rubber flooring is made from recycled rubber tires, its lifecycle resembles the ultra-durable lifespan of rubber tires. Used rubber tires will last generations when left outdoors. Tires are made to last 5-7 years when driven on asphalt for 50,000 to 70,000 miles. They are made to last in outdoor conditions and under extreme abrasive environments, and Tire Derived Products (TDPs) have the same life expectations under duress as their raw materials.
