Product Description
The “Thermoplastic Flex Medium-Duty WS” is a flexible hose made of a thermoplastic rubber compound and features an external wear-strip along its body. These sweeper hoses are great for handling general-purpose material, air, dust, and fume. Because of this, they are often used in street sweeping applications. The external wear-strip on this sweeper tube gives it a superior degree of protection against external physical abrasions. The wear-strip enhances its drag resistance, meaning that it can be dragged along rough surfaces for longer.
Thermoplastic Rubber Body: Thermoplastic rubber is a type of synthetic rubber that is made using a mix of plastic and rubber. This type of compound provides a great level of chemical resistance and a longer lifespan in extreme temperature conditions. This is a part of the reason why these hoses are sought after for use as street sweeper parts.
External Wear-Strip: Perhaps the most defining feature of these sweeper hoses is right in the name! The external wear strip is the yellow lining seen across the body of this flexible hose.
