Product Description
Diamond-Plate Floor Mats are durable non-slip mats with an attractive industrial aesthetic. Though they are modeled after early 20th century steel plate floorings, these diamond-plated rubber flooring rolls are made from thermoplastic rubber to offer sub-floor protection, chemical resistance and high durability. They come in a selection of pre-cut sizes to fit a space of any size and make DIY installation easy. TPE is an abbreviation for Thermoplastic Elastomer, a solid rubber-like substance that combines the qualities of synthetic rubbers and modern plastics. TPE flooring rolls are soft, flexible, and durable, and can be used in similar locations that recycled or more traditional rubber flooring has been used.
Industrial Aesthetic: The primary appeal of the Diamond-Plate Floor Mats is their attractive industrial design. These rubber non-slip mats feature a surface of thin protrusions in a diamond pattern, resembling early industrial steel plate floors. Steel plate flooring is not practical in modern applications, especially in high-traffic areas such as commercial businesses and medical facilities. Genuine steel plate floor material is noisy, slippery, and often easily damaged, which is why you don’t often see them in use. Rubber diamond-plate matting is a great alternative because it offers the same sleek industrial aesthetic while being durable, slip-resistant, and easy to maintain.
Non-Slip Surface: The diamond-plate design of these thermoplastic rubber mats is more than just pretty—it also provides amazing slip-resistance. The thin, alternating protrusions of the TPE diamond-plate flooring easily fit into the grooves of shoe soles to “lock in” and prevent slips, no matter which direction you travel across the mat. The diamond-plate design also provides shoes with additional points of contact to ensure that balance is maintained, even when the surface is wet. These rubber diamond-plate floor mats provide multidirectional slip-resistance, making them ideal for moisture-prone applications.
Sub-Floor Protection: This rubber diamond-plate matting makes an excellent protective barrier for sensitive sub-floors. Traditional floor types like hardwood, tile, and concrete are notoriously easy to damage and expensive to repair. Damage can come from abrasive equipment, spilled chemicals, or even the gradual wear-and-tear of regular foot traffic. Diamond-Plate Floor Mats measure 3.5mm in gauge to absorb impacts and vibrations and protect your sensitive sub-surfaces. Thermoplastic rubber is highly durable and offers a moderate chemical resistance, allowing it to endure most harsh conditions with ease. The non-permeable surface acts as a shield, ensuring harmful movements and substances never reach your delicate sub-floors so you won’t have to deal with costly repairs later down the road.

Product Specifications
Description: | Rubber “Diamond-Plate” Flooring rolls are made from TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer). The classic diamond-plate surface texture is designed to enhance safety as well as appeal to a modern industrial aesthetic. TPE rubbers make for a higher quality flooring roll, with a better finish and a product that is 100% recyclable. TPEs are more flexible, have excellent weather resistance, offer better surface grip, and have much better tensile strength qualities, than thermoset rubbers. In addition, Thermoplastic Elastomers are available in vibrant color options. This TPE Rubber Diamond-Plate is 3.5mm (just over 1/8”) thick, measuring 36” wide and available in any length up to 25 feet. |

RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95/EC, originated in the European Union and restricts the use of specific hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products (known as EEE). All applicable products in the EU market after July 1, 2006 must pass RoHS compliance. The substances banned under RoHS are lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (CrVI), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), and four different phthalates (DEHP, BBP, BBP, DIBP). This product is REACH compliant. REACH is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals. Selected Applications: | Automotive Industry – Diamond-plate flooring creates a rugged industrial aesthetic that is popular in the automotive industry. In addition, the material resists moisture, and mild chemicals to withstand the conditions of auto-shops. Barber Shops/Salons – This non-permeable material is excellent for locations that see frequent spills, such as beauty salons and barber shops. The diamond-plate surface texture prevents slips and falls in the presence of moisture and the material can be easily cleaned for minimal maintenance. Cafeterias – Rubber provides base-floor protection in areas that experience high volumes of foot traffic. Locations with children, such as cafeterias and other school facilities, benefit from the increased safety and slip-prevention provided by the material’s diamond-plated surface texture. Industrial Pathways – Rubber is an affordable choice to designate pathways, prevent slips and offer floor protection on active construction sites. Animal Care – This watertight flooring is excellent for maintaining a clean space when grooming or caring for animals. In addition, the patterned surface-texture helps the animals to maintain footing when the surface is wet. Enclosed Car Trailers – This flooring offers excellent resistance to the elements, even in the presence of moisture. This makes it perfect for enclosed trailers, especially considering its industrial aesthetic. Medical Facilities – This rubber floor is easy to clean making it ideal for hospitals, doctors’ offices, and other medical facilities. Since the material resists moisture and mild chemicals, it can be easily maintained and will not lose its professional aesthetic. Restaurants/Foodservice – TPE rubber is non-permeable and has moderate resistance to chemicals, making it perfect for withstanding the conditions of bars, restaurants, and fast-food facilities. |
Diamond-Deck: | The diamond surface texture of these recycled rubber flooring rolls is inspired by early 20th century steel plate floorings. Though steel and aluminum floors are not as common in the modern-day, the diamond-plate surface texture is commonly associated with superior slip-prevention and modern industrial aesthetics. |
Easy To Install: | For most applications, rubber flooring can be installed easily using double-sided carpet tape. Taping the floor ensures a secure fit that can be easily removed in the case of temporary installations. |
Commercial Appeal: | TPE rubber flooring is non-permeable and easy to clean with most mild cleaning solutions. The diamond-plate surface texture creates an industrial aesthetic and adds a level of safety that is well suited for locations that experience frequent moisture spills. |
Garage & Auto: | TPE rubber is ideal for garage or basement floorings because it is impervious to moisture, offers moderate chemical resistance, and can be easily cleaned with most mild household cleaning solutions. The diamond-plate surface prevents slips and creates a modern industrial aesthetic. The traction-enhancing surface texture of this “Diamond” rubber flooring makes it ideal for transportation applications such as trailers and race decks. The non-permeable material withstands moist conditions while the diamond-plate texture minimizes the possibility for slips, trips, and falls. Lining a trailer or truck bed with this flooring ensures the highest possible traction gain, even when the surface is wet or in motion. |
Cleaning: | Because this TPE floor mats offers moderate chemical resistance, it can be cleaned with most common household cleaners. It is recommended to avoid using strong, caustic cleaners such as bleach to prevent damage to the material. |
