Beau Pirghibi
President
Beau has been with Rubber-Cal since the beginning in 1994. A big believer in environmental causes, he refocused the company’s philosophy to include affordable eco-friendly rubber materials that serve as a great alternative to synthetic rubbers. He keeps a keen eye on changing consumer trends and industry needs. Thanks to this, he has been instrumental in keeping Rubber-Cal competitive over the years by incorporating “living brands” into the Rubber-Cal mission. He holds both a BA in Political Science and a Master’s in Business Administration from UC Irvine.
Sam Esmaili
CFO
Sam has been with Rubber-Cal since 2003.
Prior to Rubber-Cal, Sam spent several years with Pfizer in Connecticut and San Diego, where she focused on financial reporting and market efficiency. Sam received her BA in Business Administration from California State University Fullerton and then received her MBA from the Duke Fuqua School of Business. A fan of Duke basketball legend Mike Krzyzewski, she intently follows the Blue Devils every college basketball season.
Josh Krueger
Operations
Josh has been with Rubber-Cal since 2007. He holds a BA in History from California State University Fullerton.
Josh has been an integral part of Rubber-Cal’s rapid growth in the past several years and is responsible for overseeing much of the firm’s sales efficiency and sales growth. The combination of his background and skills provides our customers with great service, creativity and empathy. Josh is known around here as the resident trivia maestro. He often participates in local trivia competitions with an interest in history, television, and sports. When he isn’t dominating the local trivia scene, he is catching up with his favorite TV shows such as The Flash and The Walking Dead.
Luis Macias
Director of Operations
As our Warehouse Manager, Luis keeps our day-to-day operations moving with efficiency and precision. A graduate of Vanguard University of Southern California with a degree in Business Administration, he uses his background to maintain an organized, high-functioning workspace.
Even during our busiest seasons, Luis is known for his focused leadership, ensuring that every shipment and project runs seamlessly. Away from the warehouse, he likes to recharge by relaxing and unwinding after a productive day. His reliable approach and commitment to excellence make him an essential part of the team and a key factor in our operational success.
Carlos Venegas
Creative Director
Carlos is the company’s Creative Director and has been with us since 2013. Carlos is a multi-talented creative professional who has been leading our design and marketing efforts from development through the launch of our websites in 2015.
Carlos received his BA in Graphic Design from California State University, San Bernardino. When Carlos is not busy being the Creative Director at Rubber-Cal, he likes to go spend time in the outdoors. He is fond of swimming, camping and snowboarding whenever the California climate allows.
Andre Hernandez
Inventory & Supply Chain Manager
As part of our warehouse management team, Andre plays a vital role in coordinating inventory, supporting our shipping department, and overseeing logistics accounts. With a background in Computer Science from Long Beach City College, he applies a structured and systematic perspective to maintaining warehouse safety and keeping our daily operations on track.
When he isn’t managing our logistics, Andre is likely working on a creative technical project, such as building his own arcade machines. He is also a fan of video games, hiking, and spending time painting or drawing. His unique combination of technical skill and artistic hobbies makes him a well-rounded and versatile member of the team.
Elodie Tran
New Product Development Coordinator
Elodie helps bring new products to life through photography, product launches, and creating engaging content that showcases what we do. She graduated from University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in Business Administration, with a focus on Finance and Accounting. With a natural eye for detail and storytelling, she blends creative content with a business-minded approach.
Elodie’s creative spark doesn’t dim when she leaves the office. When she’s off the clock, she swaps marketing tools for piano keys and guitar strings, spending her time playing music and staying creatively inspired. A performer since childhood, she brings that same vibrant, artistic energy into every project she touches.
Jasroop Singh
E-commerce & Analytics Manager
As our E-commerce & Analytics Manager, Jasroop manages the daily operations of our online store while analyzing the data that drives our growth. A 2024 California State Polytechnic University, Pomona graduate with a B.S. in Computer Science, he earned a spot on the Dean’s List for four consecutive years through his focus and dedication.
When he is away from his desk, Jasroop recharges by gaming with friends or jumping into a match of PUBG Mobile. He brings a calm and analytical mindset to the office, along with a genuine enthusiasm for problem-solving that helps keep our digital presence moving forward. His ability to turn complex numbers into clear results makes him a vital part of our team.
Dayanna Perez
Trade and Expo Marketing Manager
As our Marketing Team Lead, Dayanna is the logistics expert who ensures every trade show and event runs without a hitch. Her degree in Mathematics from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona serves as the foundation for her organized and creative approach to leadership.
When she isn’t coordinating our next big appearance, Dayanna stays inspired by exploring the worlds of Marvel and DC or heading out for a long walk with a great playlist. She also enjoys quality time with her family and is on a perpetual quest to find the city’s best breakfast burrito. With her sharp eye for detail and collaborative spirit, she keeps our operations moving forward and our brand looking its best.
Thu Tran
Multimedia Designer
As a graduate of CSULB with a degree in Graphic Design, Thu works alongside Carlos to bring our brand’s visual identity to life. She handles everything from creative assets to design layouts, ensuring every project is as polished as it is engaging.
When she isn’t at her desk, Thu leans into her love for the cinematic, especially a good horror movie, though she prefers to keep the “jump scares” strictly on the screen and away from her project deadlines. To fuel her next creative spark, she is often out hunting for the world’s best sweets or exploring new local bakeries. Thu brings a vibrant, dedicated energy to the team, making sure our visuals always hit the right note.
Fortino Medina
Production Manager
Rubber-Cal would not be able to do the special custom fabrication we are known for without Fortino. He has extensive product knowledge and fabrication experience. Fortino also has a gift for cooking. He is our grill specialist whenever we have a company barbecue. Whether it is carne asada, grilled cactus, or chorizo, he will make the end result something that is out of this world!
Amanda Hoang
Order Processing and Administration
As part of our Order Processing and Administration team, Amanda helps keep our daily operations organized and running smoothly. A 2021 UC Irvine graduate with a degree in Business Economics, she joined us in 2022 and has since become a key player in keeping our workflows on track.
When she is away from her desk, Amanda enjoys leaning into her creative side through various arts and crafts projects or catching up on her favorite anime. She also loves making time for her family and friends, bringing that same warm and dedicated energy from her personal life into our office every day. With her sharp eye for detail and helpful approach, Amanda ensures our behind-the-scenes processes are always handled with care.
